Hydraulic system adapters

Hydraulic fittings and adapters are designed and built to resist high pressure leakage and are made for higher pressures than is typically experienced in general plumbing systems. The maximum working pressure varies depending on the type of connection (such as JIC, NPT, SAE Code 61) and the diameter of the connection.

The pressure standards are for fluid power connections made of low carbon steel. Port connections may have a higher or lower strength. Some manufacturers products may not meet SAE specifications, in which case the product may have a lower pressure rating. Some manufacturers products may exceed SAE specifications, in which case the product may have a higher pressure rating. THE MAXIMUM DYNAMIC WORKING PRESSURE OF THE ENTIRE ASSEMBLY IS THE LESSER OF THE HOSE, TUBE, ENDS, ADAPTERS AND COUPLINGS USED IN THE ASSEMBLY.
